Alison Lewis is an author and tech entrepreneur in design research, branding, and product innovation. She brings insights and builds brand authenticity with Switch Embassy, a design and innovation consultancy, to support B2B sales and investment.

Clients have included: BOSE, GoogleX, Boston Dynamics, Pernod Ricard, and several cutting edge new start-ups. She is currently advising Ohzone, Inc., a 3D fashion innovation technology for e-commerce and sustainability.

Alison specializes in research and implementing design and content strategy for companies working on getting moon-shot ideas and products to market. She brings 16 years of fashion technology, engineering knowledge, marketing, and creative direction to C-level key stakeholders to strategize solutions for B2B Sales and Product Innovation, bridging the gap between ideas, business objectives, and product.

Before consulting, Alison created the first fully washable digital shirt; she co-founded Made In Space, which launched the first 3D printer in space and continues to grow; and built an online platform and girl-empowering tech blog in 2005 called iheartswitch.com.

She is the designer and author of Switch Craft, a Random House publication, a DIY book that teaches crafty girls how to make with electronics. And through her writing and projects, she has been featured numerous news outlets and speaking events such as the New York Times, The Martha Stewart Show, SXSW, Cisco CIO Conference, MAGIC Las Vegas, and more.

Alison shares her passion outside of the workplace by advising female and minority start-ups and public speaking on the topics of fashion technology and designing authenticity in innovation.
