Founder, CirQ Technologies Biman Liyanage is a researcher, inventor and serial entrepreneur with several advanced technology development ventures established in Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka. With over 20 patents, Biman has also won numerous awards including TechCrunch’s Start Up Competition, the Red Dot Design Award, finalist for iF design Award 2021.

Currently focused on non invasive graphene based Wearables , Digital Twin Technologies and Emotion AI for mental heath diagnostics , Biman has collaborated with many Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Porsche, Daimler and Tencent to successfully deliver over 800+ advanced technology projects.
His contribution to the industry has already earned him nominations for the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia Class of 2017 as well as the Forbes China Class of 2017 in the field of Healthcare and Sciences.
Biman also serves as the Curator for Global Shapers Beijing Hub from World Economic Forum, is an ambassador for ‘She Loves Tech’, and is the Co-Founder of the UrbanX Tech Accelerator for UN Habitat funded by the World Bank Group in Nairobi, Kenya.
